This 1883 card of Jack Blackham, of Victoria CC and Captain of Australia, is the first-ever card ever made with his image. It was made following the 1882 "Ashes" (1st Ashes) match at the Oval, London, which Oz won and the England team was declared dead and cremated.

He also played for Fitzroy as an Aussie rules footballer.
