A football cards wrapper from 50 years before Panini was founded! Well, of course it is. Though most people wrongly think Panini started it all there were, in fact, producers of soccer cards making and selling them, singly and in surprise packets, like this, as far back as 1880, in Great Britain.
This deep purple-coloured John Baines wrapper dates to circa the early 1910's, as it's addressed Oak Lane, one of the firm's later bases in Bradford. SOLD AS SEEN
