Description
1880s Walter Bumby Lancashire & Swinton British Isles international rugby star on a very rare Baines fan-shape card. We know this is Walter Bumby thanks to a faint pencil inscription across the bottom of his illustration. The card came form a collection made in the 1890s by a knowledgeable sports fan, as other cards in said collection also feature correct annotations.
