From around 1888-1890, a very rare Gorton (the club pre- Manchester City) Sunday School-issue card, probably made by W N Sharpe. Most of Sharpe's early cards had plain backs but some were printed thus, with classical or Biblical quuotations and are believed to have been issued by St. Marks and other church schools SOLD AS SEEN.
