1890s 1900 Albion Baines card WBA Brighton Hove Albion

1890s Albions Baines card WBA West Bromwich Albion or Brighton & Hove Albion - or both!
The card is assuredly 1899-1901 as it's the generic turn of century back and cut.
It's inscribed "ALBIONS". An early football card most probably for either B&HA or WBA.
Brighton had a green and white striped kit, West Brom blue and white stripes
Card designers and producers, far away in Bradford, without TV WWW or even colour pictures had little to go on in 1899-1901. They often misspelled team names and made other design errors in their cards of top teams, the strips and players of whom no card designer had seen in person; just read about in photo-less newspapers of the day. Early football cards were, thus, often creative in design and lacking precision in other things.
