1900 's Saint Petersburg original tobacco cigarette box (related: Steve Bloomer soccer card) carton, unique. No others quite like this are known. I bought this with the Bloomer and other St. Petersburg cards in 1992 from a well-known Portsmouth-based cards seller, Bill P. I long ago sold the cards, over 20 years but I kept the box. Not that the cards came with tobacco in this very box but they all came form the same source, together; all being Portsmouth issues no doubt collected by a Portsmouth-based collector from whom Bill acquired the lot in the 1970's.
