Baines Limited cards of 1918-1921 had poems added to the rear, just like this. By 1922 they were replaced by Gold Medal rears and most of the remaining handful of these David Jack Bolton Wanderers cards have the Gold Medals back. This is the much rarer, earlier type poetry back!
David Jack - the legend! The most valuable footballer of his day, the highest amount of money ever paid, at the time, was paid for him. A goal every other game, he scored over 250 in his career, as well as winning the 3 league titles and a trio of FA Cups! SOLD AS SEEN, light handling faults but generally the best there is.
