1926 Champion Triumph SET 22 Famous Footer Captains Charles Buchan Frank Barson Moss Grimsdell etc

100 years old and all 22 are beautiful cards! A full set is not known to be for sale elsewhere at the time of listing this set.

You'll get the 1926 Champion comic & Triumph  comic FULL SET of 22 "Famous Footer Captains", including the regular set breakers Arsenal's Charles Buchan and Manchester United's ex-Villa captain Frank Barson! As well you get all of the others: Frank Moss Aston Villa, Arthur Grimsdell of Spurs etc., the top 22 soccer captains of 1926! The reason these were difficult to collect into sets was they were issued with different comics! One card each week came with Champion, which issued 11; and one card par week came with Triumph, which issued the other 11 cards. That was quite some collecting for penny-short nippers, back in their day, 100 years ago! Beautiful set, mostly top condition, one or two with small issues but nothing serious, the cards will be send loose, in a stack, not in sleeves to save postage costs. Sold as seen, the best set out there!
