From around the early 1930's, issued in France with Indiana-Sport gum, this is one of the rarest cards of Bill Tilden, the tennis legend, anywhere out there! Issued by Jean Donat Dupont, in Lille, northern France this is the only one I have owned in 50 years seeking such cards for my collection. When this is sold there will be no more, sold as seen with faults as seen NOTE: see the 3rd photo for a 2017 auction of the easier brown-tinted version: in 2017 it was well over $150 (€123.50) with a crease! This better and rarer blue card, 8 years later, is set at a fair price. Prices for such rarities ave risen a lot in the last decade.
