Description
1930s-made Piola card for weighing machines. This one was used in 1940 (but made many years earlier) when someone stood on a pair of scales, on a public street somewhere in Italy, and put a coin into the weight machine. out popped this beauty. As well as a print out of weight there is the date the weight was taken on. THICK card, typical of weighing machine cards. Original card from Italy, no maker's mark but it does have the inscription, "Your Fortune Day is Nearby"- SOLD AS SEEN with some issues: some flecks and visible faults but this is a very rare QUALITY card: double thickness to most trade cards.
