circa 1932, the 2nd earliest-known Silvio Piola, here for Pro Vercelli. The card is by an unknown issuer, probably a candy issuer, but it is 100% an Italian original. It's badly cut as many of these early generic chocolate card types were but it has a clear image. This is as close to an affordable, quality Piola rookie as it gets. Anything with him in Pro Vercelli colours is almost unobtainable SOLD AS SEEN with creases and faults. A more economical version of this card is available with a less clear image - see my other Piola sales for spares from my lifetime collection which started in the 1970s.
