1931 Rudolf Caracciola ROOKIE CARD for F1 Grand Prix LEGEND 3 World Championships, 1000 Miles Race

This is one of the two earliest-known cards of Rudolf Caracciola, the F1 legend, 3 x World Champion in F1 Grand Prix (1935,1937 and 1938 - Champion of the World). Before those later F1 years he was road racing and this 1931 card (dated by the 1930-31 season Giuseppe Meazza golden boot award winner card, same series) shows him at the 1931 "1000 Miles" (Mille Miglia) race. The card states: "1000 Miles Cup Caracciola 1st to arrive", i.e. winner.

Note: some AMR to this card -see rear- and handling wear but only 1 of these ever seen! See similar cards also from 1931, plain back, and also the later 1933 Principe Cine Sport of Caracciola which also uses this image.
