1950 card of c.1942 scene: Fritz Walter & Karl Decker ( Germany's GOLDEN BOOT in 1943 ) & Ernst Lehner. This III REICH Nazi Germany team pic was used in the 1950 Kauvit series. The image dates from circa 1939-1942. The Nazi-Germany unified team shows a young Fritz Walter with the Austrian (Weiner) player Karl Decker who played for the Grossdeutscherreich team until the end of the war, 1945, after which he rejoined a newly independent Austrian team; and with Lehner who played no more national team footy after 1942. KARL DECKER was the Reich's top goalscorer in 1943! Walter went on to lift the World Cup in 1954! It also shows Ernst Lehner. He dates the card because he did ot play for the national team after 1942. The card is made by "Kauvit" in Rosenberg, Baden. It's free of glue and CLEAN. SOLD AS SEEN
