Benoist, F1 legend

War hero second to none, as a Free French SOE agent he parachuted into occupied France 3 times to fight the Nazis, ending up being executed by them in 1944.  As a racing driver Robert Benoist won 4 Grand Prix in 1927, and was one of the earliest of the all-time legendary drivers, not only being successful in the forerunner to F1, the Formula Grand Prix, but also in the Le Mans 24, which he won 2 times!
