Max Woosnam was known as "The Greatest British Sportsman" and "The King of Sport".
He captained the England football team, as well as Manchester City.
At tennis he won Wimbledon men's doubles in 1921. He also won tennis
gold and silver medals at the Olympics 1920. He played cricket so well he
scored 100 at Lords. He was a snooker player par excellence, with a recorded 147!
